“There is therefore there no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit”

We who are in Christ will not be condemned for our sins and will enjoy everlasting life and peace. This is thanks to the righteousness of Jesus being imputed to us by his work on the cross. Those without Christ are at enmity with God. Carnally minded souls cannot please him; for them is condemnation and death.
